The most popular and successfully rented properties are three bedroom villas with private pools. The average weekly rent from April through to November is €600 per week. It is anticipated that a three bedroom villa with a private pool will rent for a minimum of 22 weeks. It is certainly possible for the property to be rented for more than the 22 week season and the majority of the properties do rent for a much longer period, but 22 weeks is a cautious estimate.
Therefore 22 weeks x €600 = €13,200
We work closely with a rental company that will provide the following services:
- All advertising to find occupants for the property
- Meet clients at the airport
- Prepare the property, beds made, pool cleaned etc
- Provide a Welcome Basket and a Welcome Meeting
- A mid week Towel and Linen change
- Arrange Car Hire and Excursions for clients
- Clean the property at the end of the stay in readiness for the next clients
- All cleaning and laundry costs
For this service €130 pounds will be deducted per week from the rental income.
Therefore €13,200 (22 x €600) minus €2,860 (22 x €130) = €10,340 Net Return
to the property owner.
Property within a community with a communal pool can be rented out for income but expect a return of half that of a detached villa with a private pool.
Rental properties will require a Greek rental license known as an EOT licence. The licence costs 5,000 euros and lasts for 5 years. The EOT is a way of ensuring that the property lives up to Greek tourism standards.
Realpoint Property Greece work closely with rental companies in the area and will assist and guide our clients thorough the rental process.
